Milestone Collection Collages – Metro Detroit Family Photographer

New Background Announcement

We are ready to announce our newest option for our clients! We’ve been wanting to introduce this to you for a while now and I love how they turned out! The “Milestone Collage Background” is now available for anyone on our milestone collections. When the time comes for the 1-year session (queue the tears) we will print photos from all of your previous sessions with us to display as a story in the background of one of your baby’s set-ups. I couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate this big milestone than by being able to look back on all the moments we captured before. Think of it as a visual story from the maternity or newborn session up to where they are now. And icing on the cake, you get to take all of those photos home with you!

If you’re pregnant or recently had a baby, please contact us to schedule your milestone collection! We can begin your collection anytime between a positive pregnancy test and the baby’s first birthday.

Winter Snow Session – Michigan Family Photographer

When Allie contacted me about doing a session with her beautiful dog, Chevy in the snow, I couldn’t say YES fast enough. Winter photo sessions are so underrated and honestly, they are my absolute favorite. Michigan weather is not always predictable but when we get these big snowfalls, I can’t help but want to take my camera out and play. There is something about freshly fallen snow that makes my creative heart sing. This session happened at a beautiful field in Clarkston, Michigan with towering pine trees covered in freshly fallen snow. Chevy was so happy to play in the snow with her mama and they even were matching with their colors. You should always bring your puppy for a photo session since they are part of the family! - Jenay

Fry Family – Siesta Key Session

When my two favorite things (photography and travel) collide, it makes everything make sense. Siesta Key has become one of my favorite places to visit with my family and this is my second time taking on photo sessions while I am there. It also happens to be the second annual photo shoot for this family too. Paul is a professional baseball player for the Toronto Blue Jays and spring training happens to be in Florida. So when his wife Paige realized that my trip matched up with them being down there, we made it happen! Here are a few favorites from this session

Sam wanted a session with her baby girl and I was happy to oblige! She is wearing two of the dresses in our client closet and I’m obsessed with both of them in our new studio set up. This is a little peek at what our Mommy + Me sessions will look like on April 16th but we will have a few more changes to the studio and we will also have Complete Video Solutions here doing video during this session as well! She has got the sweetest little face and I’ve loved watching her grow! It seems like just yesterday we were in the creek photographing her six month session. Can’t believe how fast that went! Grandma was here from out of town so of course we had to do some special pictures with her. And big sister is one of her favorite people, if you can’t tell. She really knows how to do a cake smash too! Happy birthday, little lady! Well, happy belated birthday. She actually did this photo shoot on her first birthday a few weeks ago! – Jenay

Wilson Family – Baby #2 Maternity

I am SO EXCITED for this sweet family and their new baby coming soon. Logan is going to be the best big brother and I can’t wait to find out if they are having a baby boy or girl. Either way, that is one lucky little baby to have a family like theirs. Laura got to model our new couch and chaise chair coming to the studio for spring. And she is wearing two of my favorite maternity dresses (more colors and styles coming to the client closet soon!) I could write a big sappy blog post about how Katie and I both had a vision for this shoot and it came together flawlessly. Or about how we got rained out of the session twice and it ended up happening on the perfect day. Or about how this is a new location for me and I’m obsessed. Or about how Katie is obsessed with Led Zeppelin and this location is right out of a cover of one of their albums.
