Simple sessions became popular a few years ago and they aren’t going away anytime soon. These sessions are done in a photography studio on a simple white seamless background. Subjects are asked to wear white, and for good reason. It keeps everything simple. If the modern simplistic photos aren’t enough of a reason, I am going to give you four more to help you understand why you need this session in your life.
- These sessions are timeless. There isn’t any trendy decor (although I love my boho vibes) or edits (cough, cough, muted film edits). These are simply black and white photos that will never go out of style.
2. The focus is simply on the subject. These sessions are sometimes referred to as “personality sessions” and for good reason! The entire session is focused on the expressions and capturing details details and personality.
3. Outfit selection is a breeze. There is no need to stress about coordinating colors or patterns. You don’t have to decide if you’re going to pretend you always walk around in flowy gowns versus leggings and a sweatshirt. Just throw on some jeans and a white top and you’re good to go!
4. These images make excellent wall decor. Since they are simple and black and white, they will go perfectly in almost any room. So many of our clients blow these up and hang them as pieces of art (because that’s what they truly are) to showcase in their home.
