Adam + Betsey- Fox Hills Wedding- Plymouth, Michigan

Adam and Betsey’s wedding day was full of fun and laughs! We had such a great time with them and their wedding party in Plymouth.

Downtown Plymouth has a lot of cool buildings and areas to photograph around. The Penn Theatre made for some pretty fun photos with the wedding party.

From the bride on her favorite part of the day:

“It so hard to choose! But I will have to say it was probably when it was just the two of us getting our pictures taken at the golf course, there was so mucb of the day where we were around so many people it was nice to be able to have a few moments as just the two of us.”

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Baitinger! You two are so adorable together and we’re so happy we got to capture your special memories!

Mark and Beth are a GORGEOUS couple- on the inside and out! They were married at the Leap of Faith Barn, a lovely venue in Holly, Michigan that has tons of beautiful landscape surrounding it.

Unexpected rain changed the ceremony from outdoors to inside the barn, but it was still dreamy and full of love! From the groom on some of his favorite parts of the day:

“(My favorite parts of the day were) Beth walking up to the barn before the ceremony in the rain with a black umbrella. Lifting her up after our ceremony/first kiss where they pronounced us husband and wife…”

Everything about Mark and Beth’s day was rustic and beautiful and their reception decor fit the theme to the tee! We loved their uses of tree bark, all of the baby’s breath and the awesome wood-burned Michigan coasters guests took home as favors. These two showed love for their home state in so many awesome ways!

Cocktail hour consisted of build-your-own mini coney dogs and bags of Better Made potato chips, another awesome Michigan touch Mark and Beth added to their day.

Dave and Colleen celebrated in our studio’s hometown, Rochester Hills! Their ceremony was located at the St. Irenaeus Catholic Church and they celebrated their reception at the absolutely beautiful Royal Park Hotel!

Who ever thought the inside of a Bordine’s Nursery would be an amazing place to photograph? We had a blast taking pictures of the wedding party around all of the beautiful plants and flowers.

Congratulations Dave and Colleen! We really felt the special love between you two and loved capturing your day!

Everything about Matt and Jen’s wedding day was SO colorful! They really did a wonderful job in incorporating their rainbow color scheme into every single element of their day. It was so fun and beautiful.

It was a beautiful day for a beautiful bride and groom. We loved how Nathan and Katie incorporated green and yellow so well within their wedding party, florals, and overall decor. Everything was so stunning!

From the bride on her favorite part of the day:

“When we walked down the aisle after the ceremony. I was so preoccupied with the ceremony that all the people in the pews barely registered until we turned around and our pastor announced us Mr. and Mrs. Saliga. It was so exciting to be finally married and it was heartwarming to see how many friends and family had come out to love and support us.”

We LOVE photographing at Indian Springs Metropark. It’s such a beautiful location with plenty of beautiful surrounding landscape, and we had a gorgeous day to spend plenty of time outside!

Jason + Randen- Lazy J Ranch Wedding- Milford

Jason and Randen had a beautiful wedding ceremony and reception at the Lazy J Ranch in Milford, Michigan.

We started the day getting ready with the girls. All of her bridal accessories complimented her dress beautifully and fit her color scheme to a tee! All of the bridesmaids even spent the morning getting ready in adorable pink pj shortie sets.

The outdoors surrounding the Lazy J Ranch were beautiful and Jason and Randen’s decor included really cute touches that made it feel cozy including the white curtains with lanterns on their alter and a chalkboard sign reading “Can we get a witness?” directing guests to their seats.

A friend of Jason and Randen’s lent them an ultra cool bright red vintage Chevrolet truck that we had tons of fun photographing with out in the field!

Jason and Randen’s mix of rustic and vintage decor for their reception was gorgeous and really transformed the inside of the barn. The mix of gold, cream and pink tones really shined against the rustic barn wood.

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Wilkinson! Your wedding was just as beautiful as the both of you are. Thanks for sharing it with us. 🙂

Trevor + Kim- Meadowbrook Hall Wedding, Michigan

Trevor and Kim were married at the beautiful Meadowbrook Hall in Rochester Hills. It was a beautiful day for a beautiful bride and groom to be married in the gorgeous and colorful outside surrounding the hall.

Kim wore a gorgeous beaded lace gown from Elegant Lace Bridal and Tuxedo and her simple stunning accessories gave the perfect compliment to her overall look.

The vibrant coral daisies the bridesmaids carried were a bold and stunning match for their navy mismatched dresses.

There are so many lush greens and vibrant florals around the Meadowbrook Hall in the summertime. We had so many beautiful locations just around the building to capture the love Trevor and Kim truly share.

One of the most fun parts of the day was getting to come to the bride’s home on a lake and take the boat out with the wedding party.

From the bride: “One of our favorite memories from our wedding day was taking the pontoon boat out on the lake with our wedding party in-between our ceremony and our reception. It truly allowed us to relax and take in the meaning of this day and live in the moment and try to slow it down.”

Trevor and Kim’s reception was held at the Brentwood Golf Club and Banquet Center in White Lake.

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Mischik! We truly enjoyed spending the day capturing your beautiful memories.

Nick + Alex- Royal Oak Farmers Market Wedding, Michigan

Alex and Nick were married at the Royal Oak Farmers Market. We always love when couples marry in unconventional locations. It’s make the day a lot of fun and their photos come out with a lot of uniqueness!

Alex and Nick have a SUPER adorable daughter named Ava. She is so precious and was a very special part of their day. She made such a cute flower girl and they even dedicated a special section of their ceremony to her.

‘First Looks’ are a pretty common thing for brides and grooms today. Couples really enjoy the idea of getting a few moments during the craziness of the day to enjoy each other’s company in private. Alex and Nick both said the First Look was their favorite part of their special day.

From the groom: “My favorite part was seeing my wife for our first look before the ceremony…I liked getting to do our vows beforehand and have a special moment between the two of us.

From the bride: “I loved it all! Being surrounded by our friends and family was amazing…I loved our first look and getting to just be us by ourselves and really enjoy the moment..”

Alex made such a gorgeous bride. Her keyhole Alessandra Bridal lace dress was stunning! Her bouquet was an incredibly beautiful arrangement of dahlias, mums, amaranths, dusty miller, and more. Her coordinating fresh floral headpiece really brought the whole entire look together.

A totally romantic and gush-worthy moment happened when Nick surprised Alex during cocktail hour with a song he wrote to her and played in front of all the guests on his guitar. It was such a loving and emotional moment, we even had tears in our eyes!

Who knew that an urban style farmers market building could be transformed into a totally rad reception venue?! Alex and Nick even included a Mexican-style food truck from Detroit inside the venue and had smokers outside cooking delicious barbecue!

2015 has been an amazing year. We have photographed so many Metro Detroit Weddings and traveled too! Some of our favorite destinations were Traverse City, Petoskey, Charlotte, NC and Nashville, TN.

As always, we want to thank all of our 2015 newlyweds for allowing us to capture these memories. We are hoping that during our “slow” season we are able to get some of the full weddings blogged. But for now, here are all of our couples!
