Jayme and Andrew started as friends for years until they realized their friendship was something much bigger. After falling in love, Andrew proposed to Jayme by surprising her with a Christmas present containing an ornament saying “Will You Marry Me?” and then getting down on one knee. How romantic!!
The two were married at Shepherd’s Hollow golf course and banquet center in Clarkston, Michigan. This venue is so gorgeous! It’s revealed down a long winding drive surrounded by a forest of tall trees. The scenery was perfect on their day with the foliage being a beautiful lush green all around. We started the day off getting ready with the girls. I was in love with all of Jayme’s stunning accessories!
We then headed off to Shepherd’s Hollow where the girls would get dressed. Jayme looked stunning in her fit-and-flare dress with layers of swirling tulle on the bottom and the girls looked beautiful in their long pink dresses with illusion lace on top.
I just have to say- I LOVE navy/blue suits on grooms. It’s a change of pace most of the time and Andrew’s suit went PERFECTLY with everything about the day: the wedding party, the venue, the flowers, the reception decor. IN LOVE!
The couple expressed that the “First Look” was their favorite part of the day.
From the two:
“We loved the first look and having that intimate moment be just between us. We were able to spend a couple minutes of time just the two of us.”
The bouquets containing stunning vibrant pinks, greens and blues and big beautiful dahlias were gorgeous against the girl’s dresses.
Scattered rain throughout the day called for an indoor ceremony instead of celebrating outside but it didn’t matter. Everything went perfectly and was beautiful as ever! Having their friend marry the two of them was a very personal and heartfelt touch to the ceremony!
Jayme and Andrew did SUCH a wonderful job with their reception decor. Everything was so thought out and you could tell they did a lot of hard work! The tiny succulent place settings were one of my very favorite details along with the blue lace table runners.
The sky cleared just in time for dancing and the setting for Jayme and Andrew’s first dance was probably the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. Layers of string lighting outdoors as dusk fell surrounded by gorgeous woods- jaw dropping and perfection!
Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Harding! We had SUCH a blast being part of your special day!
