It was a beautiful day for a beautiful bride and groom. We loved how Nathan and Katie incorporated green and yellow so well within their wedding party, florals, and overall decor. Everything was so stunning!

From the bride on her favorite part of the day:

“When we walked down the aisle after the ceremony. I was so preoccupied with the ceremony that all the people in the pews barely registered until we turned around and our pastor announced us Mr. and Mrs. Saliga. It was so exciting to be finally married and it was heartwarming to see how many friends and family had come out to love and support us.”

Mike + Michelle- Henry Ford Museum Wedding- Dearborn, Michigan

Mike and Michelle were married at the Henry Ford Museum. We love this venue because they feature a number of gorgeous rooms in their

building, each with a different look.

Michelle was such a gorgeous bride! Her subtle sparkling details lended themselves perfectly to her sheath and classic lace dress. Her unique green bouquet was the perfect compliment to it all.

Michelle and Mike both said that their favorite part of the day was during their ‘First Look.’

From the Bride: “My favorite moment was when I saw my future husband. We did a sneak peek and as I walked down the stairs at the Henry Ford Museum, I could see him standing in front of me. It was so exciting when he turned around and I LOVED having a few minutes where it was just the two of us before the ceremony and reception.

From the Groom: “Hard to choose a favorite, but seeing her for the first time was my favorite part (yes I cried!) Also seeing her mom happy and the rest of the family too was amazing!”

The Henry Ford Museum is such a fun location for a Bride and Groom to have their ceremony and reception at because the historical museum actually allows wedding parties to venture through their exhibits and photograph next to the variety of displays.

We had a ton of fun with Michelle and Mike’s group!

Mr. and Mrs. Kramer’s reception was inside the “Museum Plaza” room. Their beautiful florals and vintage inspired details really transformed the space into something magical.

Josh + Courtney- The Loveless Cafe & Barn Wedding- Nashville

Courtney and Josh’s wedding truly had some southern Nashville charm! The rustic vibe of their venue, The Loveless Cafe and Barn brought a very warm feel to the whole day.

Courtney, the bride, actually works at the Loveless Cafe and Barn. We had a perfect day and gorgeous fall colors that really popped with the dark colors that the Courtney and Josh incorporated into their wedding party’s attire and the overall theme of their decor.

Courtney and Josh both come from a family of musicians. Using an acoustic guitar for their guestbook was such a fun and personal touch they included at their reception.

Having a live band was very important to Courtney and Josh since they and their families are all very involved in music. Both the bride and groom’s sisters sang a song for all the guests on stage and the band even invited Josh on stage to show off his drumming skills.

From the bride, describing her favorite part of the big day:

“Our last dance, which the band surprised us with my favorite song “Turning Page” by Sleeping at Last. As we started dancing, we looked up, and saw all our friends and family forming a large circle around us.”

John + Jennifer {Wedding} – Metro Detroit Wedding Photographer

John and Jennifer are an amazing couple that we had the opportunity to get to know.  They have a love for each other that is so strong, it can be seen with just a simple glance.  Their wedding day was amazing.  It started out with a beautiful morning with the girls getting ready at one of the bridesmaid’s houses.  Jennifer had every detail planned out.  It was perfect.

On our way to meet the guys for John and Jennifer’s first look, it started to rain.  And it rained hard.  Some people would have been in a panic at this point.  All of the pictures were planned for outside at a beautiful park.  But they both kept their cool.  It didn’t matter about the rain.  We waited it out and soon enough, it stopped.  Then it was time for the fun to begin.  I absolutely love their first look moment which you will see below.

The ceremony was amazing.  I absolutely adore photographing in old churches.  And it doesn’t get much better than this one!

The reception was nothing short of a blast.  The father of the groom has been in a band for years and they were awesome! Between the band, choreographed dancing from the wedding party and the sparklers, I will always remember this wedding.
