Recently I went live in my Private Boudoir Group and answered all of your questions. We had so much fun chatting and I dropped a lot of information so I thought it would be best to put it here so you can see it too if you missed it! Here we go!
What Type of Session Do you Offer?
- Classic Session – This is done in our studio or a location agreed upon by the photographer and the client. This session includes all of our pre-session goodies including a prep guide, shopping links, timeline guidance (when to get waxed, spray tan, etc.), prepayment plan options and perks, questionnaire to get to know you better and see your goals for the session and last minute tips. You will receive professional hair/makeup, your choice of 2-3 outfit changes, one-hour of photography time and a product credit.
- Ultimate Session – Everything listed above with a few extra perks to make for the Ultimate Self Care Day. Immediately following your session, you will receive a 1-hour massage by a licensed massage therapist while I edit your photos for a same-day reveal. No need to schedule a time to come back, you’ll be able to see them all the same day!
- Marathon Session – Marathon Sessions are set up similar to our mini sessions. You will receive a 1-hour photo session at a specific location on a specific date. These locations are typically airbnbs with a very unique decor vibe. You will be able to do 2 to 3 outfits during your session and the session does include a set number of digital images. Currently we are offering the option to share your session with a friend meaning that you can each do 30-minutes. This is the perfect way to dip your toes in the boudoir world. What Comes Included In Your Sessions?
All bookings will include the following:
- Booking Confirmation with details about your session date/time
- Prep Guide with outfit suggestions
- Timeline Guide with suggestions on when to order outfits, schedule spray tans or waxing and more
- Pricing Guide with Prepayment Plan options and perks
- Questionnaire to get more information from you including any insecurities or areas you want to highlight, reasons for doing the session, make-up requests, etc. so that we are fully communicating before your session. It’s all about being open and honest!
- Last Minute tips and tricks such as drinking enough water, stretching, what to wear coming to your session, etc.
- Professional Hair/Makeup, champagne, water, snacks during your getting ready time
- Two to Four Outfit Changes depending on which session you’ve selected
- Some sessions include a print credit or digital images which is explained at the time of session selection
- All images will be hand-edited for you to view at your reveal or upon gallery delivery
Can I keep my photos private?
YES! You will never have to worry about sharing your images if you don’t want to. After your session, you will receive a feedback questionnaire from me and it will ask you if you give me permission to share your images. Going further, if you say “yes” you will have the option to select where I share them. It can be only in the Private Facebook Group or anywhere. You will also have the choice of selecting the images you feel comfortable with me sharing. It can be any of them, identity protected images or just the ones that are your favorite. You have complete control over what I share, or don’t share.
I don’t know how to pose myself. Can you help me?
Girl, absolutely. I would never expect you to come in and do all of the posing on your own. I will give you as much direction as needed and can also put myself in the pose first to show you how to do it. One of our prep tips is to stretch because there are poses you will be put in that your body is not used to being put in. Not only will I pose your body, I will tell you exactly what to do with your hands, feet, eyes, mouth and will even put your hair exactly where it needs to go. You do not have to be experienced in posing to do a boudoir session. That’s my job!
Will you photoshop parts of my body that I don’t like?
NO. With over ten years of experience photographing boudoir, I know how to POSE your body in ways that will complement your body type. My goal is for you to see who you are RIGHT NOW and love yourself. It would be doing a disservice to you and to myself if I spent time photoshopping you after your session. I will soften your skin and remove blemishes, razor burn, bruises, etc. But I will never change your body shape. Sorry, not sorry.
I don’t know what to wear or where to shop. Do you give me suggestions?
We sure do! As part of our prep packet, you’ll receive a list of suggestions for things to wear. Spoiler alert, it doesn’t have to be lingerie! There are so many articles of clothing (or nothing at all) that can take the place of lingerie and be super sexy. An unbutton pair of jeans, a cardigan, fishnets, all of these are just examples of what you can bring instead of or in addition to lingerie. We will also give you a list with links included to some of our favorite places to shop. Some local shops have even given us discount codes to use which you’ll receive after you book your session. So fun, right?
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes, absolutely! We all go through tough times and I do believe that this experience is an investment in yourself. We will send you all of the prepayment plan options with the collections and work with you to find something you’re comfortable with. We do not offer post-payment plans. This is because I want you to walk in to your session and not have anything else to stress about. We will have it all figured out before your reveal so that you just get to sit back, relax and say “damn, I’m hot!” without having to worry about what you can afford.
Can I bring a friend to my boudoir session?
You can but I want you to really think about this before you invite someone. Think of who you would feel comfortable being naked in front of. These sessions are intimate and you will be vulnerable. So make sure whoever you invite to come is someone you are very comfortable with. I will be your ultimate hype girl, so you don’t need to bring anyone else with you. But if you’d like to bring someone, you sure can!
Are there certain outfits that work for or against different body types?
Ding, ding, ding! Yes! Certain pieces flatter some body types but don’t work well for others and we will give you all of that information ahead of time too. For example, if you have a large chest, you will want to look for a body suit that has more support up top rather than the lace fabric that just hangs over and pulls the ladies down.

Honestly, I hear it all. Every excuse in the books. But I am here to tell you that you could probably always find an excuse to put off this session. The time is NOW. You don’t have to love your body to book the session. Honestly, it’s better for me if you don’t. Because that means when you see your images and understand how beautiful you are RIGHT NOW, I’ve done my job. Happy tears at reveals are what I live for. You are stunning. If you don’t feel that way, invest in yourself and book the damn session. You’ll be so happy you did.
